North Central Regional Jail and Correctional Facility in neighboring Doddridge County serves Ritchie and is operated by the West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The state's offender-search hub is the starting point, but its Daily Incarcerations option is an admissions and active-population product. It cannot be relabeled as a release log.

WVDCR owns the North Central booking and release record, not the Ritchie County Sheriff. A focused request should give the person's full name, date of birth or OIS number if known, the facility, the Ritchie case number, and the exact date-time range.
